It is important that we all take the right steps to prevent falls.
This website is a resource for individuals who might be at risk for falls, caregivers and healthcare workers who provide care for those individuals – whether at home, in community based living, or post-acute care – and family members or friends who might be supporting individuals at risk for falls. For healthcare workers, there are educational programs providing continuing education units (CEUs) for caregivers and providers who work in assisted living, adult family homes, and skilled nursing centers. This site is a collaborative project of the Adult Family Home Council, LeadingAge Washington, and Washington Health Care Association. We also appreciate the support and help of Washington State agencies.
